Frequently Asked Questions
A clear introduction to our program, facility collaboration, staff education, and next steps.
01 Who does Oral Bridge serve?
Oral Bridge serves nursing homes, assisted-living communities, veterans’ senior-care settings, and other organizations supporting older adults. Programs are planned with facility leadership to reflect resident needs, staffing realities, and site routines.
02 What does the Oral Bridge program include?
Program components may include resident-centered oral-wellness support, oral-care education, practical staff training, observation and documentation support, and coordination with the facility’s established care and escalation processes. The exact scope is tailored with each partner facility.
03 How does staff education work?
Training is designed for the realities of senior care. Sessions can address daily oral-care assistance, infection-control awareness, dementia-informed communication, recognizing and documenting changes, escalation pathways, and preserving resident dignity.
04 How do we schedule a consultation or program visit?
Facility leaders can use the Schedule page to choose an available Calendly time for an introductory conversation. During that meeting, we discuss resident needs, facility priorities, staff-training goals, scheduling preferences, and possible next steps.
05 What documentation and outcome information can facilities expect?
Oral Bridge can provide agreed-upon program records and summary information that help facilities monitor participation, education delivered, observations, follow-up needs, and program trends. Documentation is aligned with the facility’s workflow and does not replace its clinical record or internal reporting requirements.
06 How does Oral Bridge work alongside the care team?
Oral Bridge is a collaborative partner. We coordinate with facility leadership and designated staff, reinforce the existing care plan and daily routines, communicate relevant observations through agreed channels, and follow established pathways when a concern needs attention from the appropriate care professional.
